'Umm Bilal' on his imprisonment

It has been nearly eight months since Syria-based American journalist/activist Bilal Abdul Kareem was arrested by security forces in the locality of al-Bab in Aleppo province, where he was residing. To date, there has been no official announcement by any government entity about his arrest or what proceedings (if any) are being taken against him. However, some information regarding his case has emerged from Bilal’s supporters and family, who have been increasingly speaking out on social media.
