The Druze town of Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights has come to the forefront of international attention amid a projectile strike that killed ten children. While some supporters of the ‘resistance’ axis were initially happy when news of the strike came out and were happy to credit Hezbollah for the incident, once it became apparent who the probable victims were (i.e. Druze children who did not have Israeli nationality), the tune quickly changed, with Hezbollah issuing a statement denying responsibility for what happened, and some supporters and sympathisers suggesting the incident was the result of an Iron Dome failure.
